Last Chance: Richard Woolsey’s Uniform

The sixth week of Propworx’s Stargate auctions soldiers on, featuring more than 100 fantastic items from the Stargate universe! But as far as Richard Woolsey’s Atlantis uniforms go, this is the final one for eBay. We are saving the rest for our live auctions. Woolsey joined Atlantis as a full-time cast member at the beginning of Season Five, when Colonel Carter was recalled to Earth. He spent that year learning that the obstacles encountered in the job were not as black and white in their resolution as he had been allowing himself to think. Woolsey, after all, was a key player in the internal investigations of General Hammond, Elizabeth Weir and Colonel Carter.

In the Atlantis Season Five episode “Remnants,” International Oversight Advisory Representative Shen Xiaoyi traveled to Atlantis to give her assessment of Woolsey. Richard realized how Hammond, Weir and Carter must have felt.

This production-made costume consists of gray trousers with one thigh cargo pocket on each leg, and a production mark of “WOOLSEY” inside the waistband. The Atlantis-style jacket has burgundy detailing on the cuffs and shoulders corresponding to the era for which the costume was made. Of course, the costume also includes the appropriate Atlantis and United States flag patches. No size information is available for this costume.
