Gauntlets of a Special Warrior

Season Eight of Stargate SG-1 came with numerous surprises, including the return of the Replicators, the destruction of the Goa’uld, and the arrival of Isaac Hayes as the Jaffa To’loc! The famous actor/singer-songwriter made brief appearances in the 3-part story arc, “Reckoning Parts 1 and 2″ and “Threads”.

A former servant of Heru’ur, the Jaffa warrior To’loc cast the deciding vote to retake Dakara, after expressing concern at Teal’c's bold plan. He realized that the Jaffa rebellion needed to take aggressive action, but if they lost this battle they would lose everything they had spent years working toward. Fortunately, To’loc’s approval of the plan ultimately unfolded into their greatest victory, and paved the way for the free Jaffa nation.

These Jaffa gauntlets were worn by Mr. Hayes throughout his appearances as To’loc. They have a unique paint job of silver and gold detailing that we have not found among any other pairs of gauntlets. As with most of the Jaffa gauntlets, they are made of rubber and are adjustable for various arms.
