Roughing It: Halling’s ‘Kindred’ Costume

Actor Christopher Heyerdahl has portrayed numerous characters in the Stargate franchise, from Pallan in SG-1′s “Revisions” to the famous “Todd the Wraith” from Seasons Three to Five on Atlantis. Every character he’s portrayed has been a hit.

This week we’re featuring Heyerdahl’s stunt costume from “The Kindred,” the Season Four two-parter, in his role as the Athosian “Halling”. Halling was introduced in the Atlantis pilot episode, “Rising,” and he appeared in numerous episodes throughout the rest of the series.

This was Halling’s final costume, which he wore while he was captured by the Wraith/human hybrid, Michael Kenmore. Throughout the season we speculated who had captured the Athosians. Only in “The Kindred” did we find out.
