Relics of an Ancient People

Look around Daniel Jackson’s office and you will find priceless artifacts from many ancient civilizations. From clay pots to ritual items, these all represent a great significance to the student of long dead cultures. Propworx is privileged to make available to fans a select number of these mysterious pieces which were displayed throughout the years in Dr. Jackson’s laboratory, including this parchment which we are selling this week!
Daniel studied this piece of parchment while trying to distract himself from Vala’s boredom in the SG-1 Season Nine episode, “The Ties That Bind” — around the same time she sat on his glasses. The two were tied together for a series of episodes by means of a pair of Goa’uld bracelets which forced them to remain in proximity to one another.
This parchment is an ink sketch which has been applied to high-quality paper and then weathered to simulate aging. Obviously the items around Daniel’s office are all from Earth, but when it comes to television magic it is the appearance that is key!
