LOT 135: Ronon’s Gun and Holster with Knife
Propworx is very proud to be offering an extremely cool piece from Stargate Atlantis, Ronon Dex’s blaster, holster, and knife!

The blaster and knife in this lot are both made of rubber, and this particular blaster does not light up. Props created in this manner are often referred to as “stunt” versions. A common misconception is that stunt versions are only used by stunt people and are not considered “Hero” because the actor did not use them. Sometimes this is the case, but these same props are also used by the lead actors in scenes that are typically very physical and there is a high probability that the prop could be damaged, and most importantly, to keep everyone safe on set while playing out scenes with these weapons.

Included in the lot is also Ronon’s holster and knife sheath. Both are made out of beautiful, thick brown leather and their construction is of very high quality!

We are very pleased to have the chance to offer these incredible pieces of Stargate Atlantis history to fans on October 1st, 2011 during the third and final Stargate Live Auction.
Keep an eye on Propworx.com, as well as our Facebook page, at www.Facebook.com/Propworx for up to date information on this exciting auction!!! E-mail dean@propworx.com with any questions regarding the Stargate Live Auction.

The Propworx Official Stargate auctions are continuing for one more week in 2010! We’re counting down the days until Sunday night, December 12, when 99 auctions will make their way into the hands of fans.

One of these terrific pieces is an item never before seen in our eBay series: the Puddle Jumper Remote. This device was used in the SG-1 Season Eight episode, “Moebius, Part 1″, as well as the Atlantis Season One episode, “The Defiant One”. Both times it was used to cloak the Puddle Jumper so that it could not be seen by enemies.

This beautiful prop is constructed from acrylic and features six clear rubber buttons, and a green and silver decal on back, and Ancient writing near the buttons.

Get the remote while it’s hot! You won’t be seeing another one like it on eBay again. While you’re there, check into our other 98 great lots available from now until Sunday night (US time)!

A brand new week of Stargate auctions has begun on eBay! We are showcasing 99 amazing props, costumes and art pieces from both SG-1 and Atlantis, and today want to highlight a particular item which has never appeared in previous weeks.

The Ancient Communication Stone was introduced to Stargate mythology in the SG-1 Season Eight episode, “Citizen Joe”. This episode was meant to be a low-key money-saver but ended up creating one of the most recognizable props in the Stargate franchise.

The stone took on greater purpose in Season Nine’s “Avalon, Part 2″ and “Origin” (where the stone we are selling was seen). They appeared again in the Atlantis episode “Identity”, and have been used repeatedly throughout Stargate Universe as a major storytelling device.

The design of the communication stone has never changed throughout the franchise, so this piece remains as authentic now in new episodes as it did when the original prop was created for “Citizen Joe”.

Check out the stone on eBay by following this link to the page, and be sure to visit the other 98 items available from now until Sunday night!

Panel taken from a specific glyph on a Puddle Jumper Dial Home Device dash board, used in the first season of Stargate Atlantis. This piece is an acrylic panel backed with a bronze and silver decal showing a constellation symbol, with a clear rubber button on one corner. Measures approx. 4in x 3.5in x 0.5in.
